The transition towards from my research towards this design started by getting to know the context, out of the research I concluded that a lack of understanding local culture resulted in the fact that some present-day projects are not fitting in their context. In this design I continuously searched for a way to find the perfect balance between modernism and architecture.

The design is based on a system that is applicable in cases where middle-sized Moroccan cities grow on the outskirts of the city. The urban design mixed dwellings with valuable exterior spaces without losing the required density. The dwellings can be expanded through the semi-public space while maintaining areas where people can sit together.
