Country House - Cafe Maure (Morocco)

This dwelling is situated on an agricultural site, surrounded by orange trees. The design is oriented towards the trees and incorporates the surroundings in every area of the house. Unlike traditional Moroccan dwellings, the kitchen is part of the main living area. The Mediterranean climate of this site in North-East Morocco enables the design to be free of electrical features to regulate the climate. The sea-breeze enters the building through the veranda and creates an agreeable climate inside the building during hot summers.
