This house is situated in the coastal town of Puerto Lopez in Ecuador. The original house was one storeys high and dealt with climate problem mainly because of the roof structure. In order to expand the home and to reduce heat problem the original house was topped up with a light wooden structure mainly consisting out of bamboo.
